Transitioning to Personalized Semaglutide Care

Updated over 8 months ago

Overview

Starting today, April 22nd 2025, we’re updating our semaglutide offering to a personalized dosing model. This change reflects recent shifts in regulatory guidance and ensures we continue providing safe, effective care within the current prescribing framework. This change is being rolled out gradually over the coming weeks.

What Has Changed?

We previously offered semaglutide in standard increments (e.g., 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 1.7 mg, 2.4 mg). Going forward, all prescriptions will be tailored to individual clinical needs rather than following a pre-set dosage tier. This change allows us to continue supporting access to semaglutide while aligning with evolving clinical and compliance standards.

Why Personalized Dosing?

  • More clinically aligned: Tailoring the dose ensures better individual outcomes.

  • Safer and more responsive: Side effects and treatment responses vary — this approach allows for real-time adjustments.

  • Compliant with current regulatory expectations: Personalized care enables continued access within the latest requirements. Recent changes in how medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide are regulated mean that pharmacies must customize compounded prescriptions based on individual patient needs — not replicate branded dosing exactly. This model supports that requirement.

What Stays the Same?

  • We will continue offering 3-month treatment plans for convenience and consistency.

  • Pricing will remain stable and affordable.

  • If you already ordered a refill or have a second shipment on the way, it will follow the previous dosing format. No further action is needed.

How It Works

  • New patients: You’ll be able to share your standard dose preference, but the final prescription will reflect a personalized plan approved by the provider.

  • Existing patients: If you're refilling, a quick reassessment will help determine the best personalized dose going forward.

  • Patients will still suggest their standard previous dosing preference during the consultation, but final prescriptions will reflect a personalized plan approved by the provider.

FAQs

Why are you making this change?
This update allows us to remain compliant with recent regulatory expectations and ensure you continue to have access to safe, effective treatment.

Are your increasing your prices?
No. Pricing will remain stable and continue to be among the most affordable options available.

Do I need to do anything right now?
Not yet. This change is being rolled out gradually. You’ll receive a notification when it’s time to complete your personalized dosing consult before your next refill.

What if I already have a refill or shipment scheduled?
If your refill is scheduled before your transition date, it may follow the previous dosing format. Refills after that will follow the new personalized model.

Can I request the same dose I was on before?
Yes — you can share your previous dose or preferred target during your consultation. However, your provider will determine the final personalized prescription based on your current health status and treatment goals.
